ZGC Capital selects Kick SIM Networks to pitch for Chinese investors on December

Today Kick SIM Networks Inc. was selected by ZGC Innovation Center, based in Santa Clara, CA, to be part of the startup roadshow trip to China from Dec 11st until Dec 21st.

The startup roadshow trip to China will stop in Beijing (capital city), Henan, and Zhejiang. At the stops, the startups will pitch to a local audience comprised of 10+ government agencies, 100+ large enterprises, and 100+ active investors, and will have follow-up meetings after pitching for the audience. 80% of the teams that went on prior trips were able to raise funding or development business from trip-generated leads. All trip expenses will be paid by the ZGC Innovation Center.

For Kick SIM Networks, Inc., the main objective of this roadshow will be to test the new partnership with China Mobile International Ltd. defined last month. The partnership aims to attend users from the US and Brazil initially. “The Chinese inbound market represents more than 28 million foreign visitors per year with a growth rate of 8.1% from 2015 to 2016 respectively. There is a huge potential to generate a new revenue stream for China Mobile International”.

Another objective to Kick SIM during the trip will be to develop new customer acquisition channels to serve the Chinese users traveling to the US primarily. “The outbound market from China to the US represents 2.97 millions of users registered during 2016. The US has enjoyed 13 consecutive years of growth in arrivals from China, 12 of which exhibited double-digit growth rates. By acquiring new customers for KickSIM Roaming App we will generate a new revenue stream for the travel and hospitality industry like loyalty programs, airlines companies, ride-sharing drivers and online travel agencies in China”.
